Rangers even series with another win on home ice

Kitchener 7 – Sault Ste. Marie 4 (series tied 2-2)

Kitchener scored early and often in this one, en route to a 7-4 victory over Sault Ste. Marie.

Matthew Villalta was chased from the Greyhound net after allowing four goals on 15 shots in the first 16 minutes. The Rangers got first period goals from Logan Brown (1g 1a), Greg Meireles, Adam Mascherin (1g 1a) and Givanni Smith (2g).

Kitchener added two more from Smith and Kole Sherwood (1g 1a) before the Greyhounds scored their first in the final seconds of the middle period. Taylor Raddysh (1g 1a) got the Soo on the board.

Tim Gettinger (1g 1a) scored early in the third before Richard Hugg added on to the Kitchener lead.

Keeghan Howdeshell scored twice to round out the game in the third period.

With the series tied at two, game five is Friday night in Sault Ste. Marie.
